All the parts I ordered arrived to the shipping point down in the states, now I just gotta pop down and pick them up (I will put a list of all the parts once I have some pictures of them). I have spent way longer than I thought designing the cabinets. I used google sketchup and it seemed to do the trick once I figured out how to use it. I had a lot of trouble keeping the tweeter at about 36" high, while maintaining the cubic feet needed for the woofer enclosure (~1.43 cubic feet) without having the width and depth the same length (this apparently causes "Bouncing Frequencies" that sound bad). BUT, I think I have finalized my plans. I started with a one mid, one tweeter, two woofer design, then went to a two mids, one tweeter, two woofer design, to finally a two mid, one tweeter, one woofer design in a Mid-tweeter-mid-woofer configuration and then a 3" port at the bottom to tune the woofer section to the right frequency.

Getting the right volume in the upper chamber to get to the ~10.2 Liters that the two mids needed also was tricky and I ended up needing to put a couple pieces in the sides to shrink width of the space. I will be using 3/4" MDF for this build, I havent decided yet how I am going to finish it. The panel saw at Totem will be a big help in getting all my pieces cut to the right sizes, then the Jasper circle jig I ordered from Parts Express will make all my driver cut outs perfect.

I figured once I publish these plans it will make me stick to them. I seem to have a new thought everyday that results in me having to change the whole design. If I spent as much time on my homework as I have on this I would be at the top of my class!
